Our final exercise of Foundation February is the ANCHORED BRIDGE!
Begin lying on your back with your knees bent about 5 inches off the ground, your feet flexed with big toes together.
Anchor your legs by squeezing your knees together, take a big decompression breath and then actively pull your heels LIKE they’re going to move towards your pelvis (feet do not move on the ground).
Pull your heels so hard that your pelvis lifts off the ground. It will not come up high – expect to hover and aim for a few inches.
Hold for 5 decompression breaths, and slowly return your hips to the floor.
