Foundation February: Standing Decompression – COMMON MISTAKES

with No Comments

Standing Decompression: COMMON MISTAKES. You do not want to look like this while you’re doing this exercise!

Dr. C has created a lot of length in her measuring sticks 🤙🏼🤙🏿 by extending her spine and compressing her low back. Make sure that you are breathing and elevating both your front AND your back ribs, up and away from your pelvis.

While decompressing, try to make the back of your neck as long as possible (think double chin) – look straight ahead!

Any questions? Give us a shout in the comments below, or come to class tomorrow at 6:30 PM. Happy decompressing!
