Here at Main St. Chiropractic, we are hyper-focused on making sure your spinal bones are functioning well, moving freely and allowing the nervous system to work uninterrupted.
After a thorough examination, our doctors may provide adjustments to the spine and extremities, prescribe corrective stretching and exercises as well as lifestyle changes to promote your spinal wellness.
You first visit will be approximately 30 minutes long. We will:
- Discuss your health history
- Perform a physical examination of your spine, muscle and nervous system
- Scan your spine with state of the art technology (See Insight scans)
- X-ray if required only.
The Doctor will review your results on your next appointments with a comprehensive plan to get your health back.
If you need to cancel, please give us a call at 604-569-0937 or e-mail us at info@mainstchiropractic.ca at least 24 hours in advance. You can also manage your bookings on the Jane app.

Approximately 4.7 million Canadians visit a chiropractor every year, and it has been a trusted form of natural healing since 1895. We are one of the top natural healing professions in the world focusing on drug-free and surgery-free non-invasive care with a variety of different health problems.
The spinal bones that protect your nervous system can shift out of place through accidents, injuries and repetitive stress, which can cause irritation and inflammation to the nerves and discs, leading to pain and dysfunction.
These misalignments in the spine can lead to a multitude of different symptoms such as headaches, migraines, neck pain, chest pain, lower back pain, sciatica, numbness and more…
Chiropractic focuses on reducing, and ultimately correcting these misalignments safely without the use of drugs or surgery, to allow the body to heal and adapt as it was designed to!

We would never recommend anything for you that we wouldn’t recommend for our family, friends, and ourselves. The team at Main St. Chiropractic is under consistent chiropractic care. Chiropractic is widely recognized as one of the safest drug-free, non-invasive therapies available for the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal complaints. Although chiropractic has an excellent safety record, no health treatment is completely free of potential adverse effects. One way you can gauge the safety of a health professional is by how much they pay for malpractice insurance. Chiropractic care has the lowest malpractice premiums of any healthcare profession.
Chiropractic care is generally safe during pregnancy, but it is good to check with your OB/GYN before scheduling an appointment. Many patients find that chiropractic treatments help alleviate the aches commonly associated with pregnancy.
Many chiropractors, including the doctors at Main St. Chiropractic, treat children. In fact, some parents bring their children in for visits shortly after birth. If you wait until your child gets older, you may notice they have neck and back pain. These are common complaints regardless of whether your kids lead active or sedentary lifestyles. Active kids can knock their spine out of alignment as they run, jump or fall. Kids who log plenty of screen time often experience neck pain or aches in their wrists. So, yes, chiropractic care is appropriate for children.
When your chiropractor performs an adjustment, the joint space opens minutely, releasing tiny pockets of air surrounding the joint. That is the sound that is heard. It is completely normal and will cause no harm to you. If you still have questions, feel free to ask our doctors.
Some patients experience instant relief. Others may feel results in weeks – especially with chronic conditions. While every patient heals differently, there are also factors contributing to the rate of healing including sleep, diet, exercise and maintaining regular spinal check-ups.
After achieving the results they desire, many patients choose to continue with chiropractic care for regular spinal check-ups. Much like regular dental check-ups that can detect problems before they are even felt by the patient, regular spinal checks can do the same. We will always work with you to determine what is the best course of care!
We are covered under most extended health benefits, however we do not bill directly to your extended health care plan. We are more than happy to provide you with an invoice to make things easier for you to self-submit.
Only patients that qualify for supplementary benefits can qualify for reimbursement for chiropractic care under MSP. For more information please see MSP supplementary benefits eligibility on their website.
We have soft opted out of MSP, meaning MSP will cover part of your adjustment cost (currently $23) and will directly pay this amount to us. You will be responsible to pay the difference.
After a car accident, having chiropractic care is often a fantastic way to support your body in the healing process.
ICBC usually covers a certain amount of sessions post accident for a period of 12 weeks, following the day of your accident.
We are happy to support you during this time. We will require your claim number and the date of the accident when you call us or book your appointment.
