Dr. Dylan
Dr. Dylan studied neuroscience in Canada and Chiropractic in New Zealand. He lived in New Zealand for 10 years, but is happy to have moved back to Canada and to be close to family again. Dylan loves caring for the community around him.
“I love helping people and communities live their lives at their fullest through neurologically based Chiropractic care. My first introduction to Chiropractic was when I was 4 months old and I haven’t looked back since. What has always blown my mind is how incredible the human body is. Our ability to adapt to stresses, overcome obstacles with resilience and heal from injury is truly incredible.
Here are 5 things you don’t know about me…
I am a classically trained pianist.
I have a French bulldog named Winston who is only a little spoiled.
I also have a horse named Harvey and love riding – specifically show jumping.
Food – I love food! My favorite cuisines are Japanese and Vietnamese.
Travel is one of my favourite hobbies, so I’m trying to make up for the past few years of nearly no travelling.”
Dr. Caitlin - On Maternity Leave
Dr. Caitlin earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at the University of Winnipeg in 2010 before graduating from the Chiropractic program at Life University in Marietta, Georgia in 2014. She has been practicing at Main St Chiropractic since 2014, and lives in Vancouver with her husband, her son and their dog.
“In the office, I am passionate about restoring normal functional movement to all human spines. I have trained in the Webster’s Technique for pregnant people. Additionally, I have taken special interest in foot and gait biomechanics, and am pursuing further education in this field. If there is a breakdown in the strength or mobility of the feet, ankles, knees or hips, then there will likely be associated issues up the chain, and vice versa. You are welcome to book a Functional Gait Assessment and/or a spinal exam with me.
5 fun facts about me?…
- Like Dr. Dylan, I am classically trained in piano (I have my grade 9 RCM). I now try to wrestle time on our keyboard from my toddler, and dream of the Petrof sitting untouched in my parent’s house.
- I danced competitively throughout high school in tap, jazz, ballet, and hip hop. I was on the Canadian National Tap Dance Team in 2006, and we won the gold for Canada in the World Dance Championship in Germany!
- When not in the office, I’m likely to be cruising around on my electric cargo bike with our son.
- I love to run for fun/exercise. Hoping to PB a 10k or half marathon next season….and after bonking during attempt #1 I still have unfinished business in the full marathon distance.
- My husband and I travelled for 14 months in 2019 and 2020 (which ended abruptly due to covid). Some highlights of the year include the Peaks of the Balkans hike and beaches in Albania, a 30 day self-guided trek in the Everest Region of Nepal, and a 40 day hike through the French Alps.”
Max
I was introduced to Chiropractic care for the first time in New Zealand after an injury. I immediately saw the amazing benefits on my body and mind.
Dr. Dylan and I took over Main St. Chiropractic in early 2024 and we are passionate about developing a healthy community in Vancouver.
I look after our Insight Scanning technology which detects unhealthy stress patterns that affect the performance of the entire nervous system. These scans are essential in tracking improvements in spinal motion and nervous system function while under chiropractic care.
On a more personal note, I was born in Lyon, France where I trained as a ballet dancer at a young age and moved over to a variety of sports throughout the years. I then completed a Bachelor of Psychology and moved to Auckland, New Zealand for 17 years before making my way to Canada. I worked in the airline industry for many years in an array of roles which took me traveling the world, which gave me opportunities to learn about so many different cultures and traditions.
Now settled in Vancouver, I am excited to serve our community and seeing you all in our newly refurbished office soon.
Alex
I was introduced to chiropractic after moving to the Vancouver area from Yellowknife, NT in 2013. My whole family has benefited from chiropractic care over the years. Personally, I’ve been getting adjustments at Main St. Chiropractic for almost 10 years that have helped me greatly with low back problems, headaches, and keeping up with overall wellness.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, photography, taking on baking projects, and going on walks outside. When I was young I was in both ballet and gymnastics. Later on, I continued my love of dance through Zumba classes, which I’ve now participated in for 13 years.
I covered for Katie while she was away on maternity leave, and I am so happy to have stayed on, expanding my time at Main St. Chiropractic! I’ve always felt great after my adjustments and hope everyone who comes to the office does as well.
Katie
Katie was introduced to the magic of chiropractic at this very office! Having just moved to Vancouver from Yellowknife, she wanted to find a field that inspired and engaged her. With a degree in Immunology and Infection from the University of Alberta, Chiropractic has allowed her to look at healthcare from a different and refreshing perspective. Every body deserves the healing power that adjustments bring.
Being part of the Main St. Chiropractic community and living in Vancouver have opened her eyes to a more natural, sustainable and fulfilling way of life. When she’s not at the helm of MSC, she loves to spend time with her husband and daughter, read all the books she can get her hands on, do a barre fitness class or swim laps at Kits Pool on sunny days, treat herself to delicious beverages of the coffee variety and let wanderlust overtake her as she dreams of travels to come.
Winston
Hello my name is Winston – I am the office doggo. WOOF! I am looking forward to meeting you all soon if I haven’t already.
I have lots of energy in the morning, but usually get tired pretty fast, so there is a high chance you will find me in my comfy bed in the sun by the front window. Feel free to come & say hi, I love pats and cuddles. I am super friendly and I love babies and children.
Unfortunately, I have some food allergies, so I am not allowed any treats. Although my dads, allow me to have my favorite bananas and blueberries!
I also love to play with my toys and I sometime scatter them all around the house just to keep my dads busy. I am good like that!
We look forward to meeting you and your family in the office. Please come visit or call us now at (604) 569-0937 to make an appointment today!
