Support for your little ones...

Pediatric Services

Our lovely little ones have nervous systems that are vulnerable to stress that impacts their function and well being just like adults.  Dr. Dylan’s youngest patient was adjusted at only a few minutes after birth! Our office welcomes children of all ages. We have a change table for parents to change diapers, as well as an area for moms to breastfeed, and we have lots of toys in the waiting area. Our staff love to make the office an enjoyable experience for children and warmly welcome kids! Our staff don’t mind assisting in watching your child should you need it during your own care. If your child is uneasy, please call us and we will work with you on how to make it a great experience for them!

Nurture your baby's spinal development

Did you know a newborn baby’s brain grows about three times its size in the first year?

And an infant’s spine will double in size in their first two years?

This is the structure that provides protection to their nervous system. Since the brain, spinal cord and spinal nerves are responsible for your baby’s digestion, elimination and respiratory system, it is important these structures develop properly to promote your baby’s best health and proper functioning of body systems.

The nervous system of the body is responsible for your child’s motor and brain development; and whether they meet their milestones at the appropriate time.

Interferences in the nerve system called subluxations impact overall health and functioning.

Did you know...?

Infants are born with only one C-shape curvature in their spine.

The cervical lordosis develops in the first few months as their posterior neck muscles get stronger to hold-up their head.

The lumbar lordosis develops between 6-12 months as babies start to cross crawl and cruise.

Eventually, when all four curvatures have developed, they can support themselves upright while walking.

Schedule regular milestone check-ups in their first year of life.

Toddlers are very busy! Gentle first steps quickly changes to walking, running and jumping with a steep learning curve.

Over stimulation from the environment, the introduction of new foods and development of new motor patterns can affect the physical development of your little ones and their whole nervous system.

School aged children are faced with new stressors: physical, chemical and emotional. They gain independence, and are constantly learning and developing bio-mechanics in sports.

Chiropractic for school aged children helps their nervous system and all their body functions adapt and thrive in their daily life as they grow!

Have your child’s spine and nervous system assessed by a Chiropractor so they can heal and function the best they can, and achieve long-term health into the future as they grow.
